HKS Chairman, Former Trammell Crow CEO Say No to Trinity Toll Road, Present Vision for I-345 and I-30
It’s hard to say what the headline is from the meeting we just had with some very important people in Dallas.
Ralph Hawkins, chairman of HKS Architects, and former Trammell Crow chief executive Don Williams joined a group of other influential people with a vision for much of inner Dallas, from Fair Park to Deep Ellum, downtown and West Dallas.
The ideas they presented were bold and progressive.
First, Hawkins (who is also incoming chairman of the Dallas Regional Chamber) said he opposes the development of the Trinity toll road. Williams joined him. Hawkins was speaking for himself and not the chamber.
“This has hit our agenda,” Hawkins said of the chamber, stressing however that he was speaking for himself.
